Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have been working in the mental health field since 2011. I started as a volunteer and moved into mental health counseling in an agency before opening my own practice in the Fall of 2019. I completed a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Saint Martin’s University in May of the same year.
I love working with clients who are thoughtful, sensitive, empathetic, and might even feel a little unusual or misunderstood. Through our work, I like seeing you become a powerful self advocate, learn and practice healthy communication skills and assert boundaries, and express yourself more authentically. I love helping both individuals and couples to understand relationships more deeply, and to feel empowered to be seen, heard, and deeply understood. I see this as the basis for being more confident and authentic in other areas of life including family, work, community, and the big systems we operate in. Some of my areas of interest as a therapist include Internal Family Systems, the Enneagram, self compassion, social justice, and body liberation. I have had a longtime interest in the therapeutic process, including helping clients to build healing and transformative relationships while working with a variety of concerns and issues.
